Monday August 6 and Tuesday August 7, 2018

Professor John Haldane
J. Newton Rayzor Sr. Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Baylor University

As well as considering the overarching theme of ‘Character and the Common Good’, the Ethos Conference was a 2-day inter-disciplinary convergence that aims to shape and inspire the Christian thought and practice at the integration of faith, learning and leadership in the public square.

The 2018 Ethos Conference on 6th - 7th  August was being held at St. Andrew's College, at The University of Sydney. This year's conference featured Professor John Haldane who is the J. Newton Rayzor Sr. Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Baylor and a Professor of Moral Philosophy at the University of St Andrews in Scotland.

It was a unique opportunity for aspiring academics, leading students, prominent practitioners, and excellent educators to consider the ways in which their faith, learning and leaderships functions in the public sphere.
